On March 14, 2024, the Regional Board for the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) and Central Okanagan Regional Hospital District adopted their 2024-2028 Five-Year Financial Plans.

Rebates have increased this year for the Regional District of Central Okanagan's Wood Smoke Reduction program, which offers up to $1500 to Central Okanagan residents who recycle an old wood-burning appliance and replace it with newer, cleaner-burning technology.

More pop-up recycling depots for Peachland and Lake Country

The Regional District of Central Okanagan is once again hosting a series of pop-up recycling depots for residents in Lake Country and Peachland. The pop ups are an opportunity to drop off recyclables not accepted in curbside carts such as Styrofoam, glass, and flexible plastics (bags and plastic wrappers).

The Regional Board adopted Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 871-274 to increase the permitted floor area of an accessory home by 46m2 at 4440 Maxwell Road.
