The Regional Board adopted the Terms of Reference for the new Environment and Climate Change committee. It also updated the bylaw and Terms of Reference for the Central Okanagan Economic Development Advisory committee.

Draft 2023-2027 Five-year Financial Plan
The Regional Board has received an updated presentation on the RDCO’s draft 2023-2027 Financial Plan. The Board directed staff to reduce proposed Capital reserve transfers for one year to lower the tax impact for:
- The Central Okanagan West Electoral Area Westside Community Parks service
- The North Westside Fire Department local service area
A reduction was also requested for the Killiney Beach community hall local service area budget.

Backup water generators and Gas Tax
The Regional Board received a report on the financial implications for installing backup electrical generators on the Killiney Beach and Westshore Estates water systems. Community Works Gas Tax funds could be considered for this project. The report recommends that prior to allocating Community Works Gas Tax funds in 2023, a Board policy be developed for appropriately allocating gas tax funds for eligible projects in the regional district electoral areas.
