North Westside Restructure Planning Grant

Off-season dog pilot projects in two RDCO parks

Pilot projects are officially underway in two regional parks in the District of Lake Country.
One of the pilot projects allows dogs to be off-leash in Kopje Regional Park, while the other allows dogs on-leash on trails within Kaloya Regional Park. Dogs are not allowed on the beach area of either park. Until this trial, neither of the two regional parks has allowed dogs within park boundaries. Closure of Mission Creek Greenway section

A portion of Mission Creek Greenway Regional Park will be closed next week to complete flood-related streambank repairs.
Monday, October 25 through Friday, October 29, 600 metres of the recreational trail will be closed to visitors between the Cedars and Smoothing Stones bridges, upstream from the Hollywood Road parking lot and trail entrance.

Here's how you can once again take part in this free, family-friendly event:
