Fire safety in RDCO parks

With a rising fire hazard and hot, dry conditions in the forecast, the Regional District reminds visitors of a few fire prevention and safety requirements.
Smoking, vaping, fires or open flames are not allowed any time in regional parks or RDCO community parks. If you see a fire in any of our parks, immediately call 9-1-1 to report it. Propane fueled barbeques are permitted, must be attended and kept safely away from any flammable materials.

The second round of catch basin mosquito control hits many Central Okanagan neighbourhoods next week.
