This is BC Small Business Week and the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (COEDC) and its community partners want to hear from regional businesses. Central Okanagan businesses are encouraged to complete a short (6 minute) survey to share their experience to date and outlook going forward here: www.investkelowna.com/businesswalk2021/. The 2020 Central Okanagan Business Walk Survey is available through Sunday October 31, 2021.

Star Place water quality advisory

The Regional District of Central Okanagan has issued a Water Quality Advisory for residents served by the small Star Place Water System in the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.
The advisory affects eight properties connected to the community water system on Star Place off Trepanier Road near the Okanagan Connector (Hwy 97-C) and follows repairs and maintenance work carried out on the system earlier today. License up to 3 dogs

Our Responsible Dog Ownership Bylaw allows dog owners in the Central Okanagan to license up to three dogs in any Central Okanagan home. Of course, all dogs must be licensed each year in the region.
Having a current license for your pets helps ensure a quick return should your dog get away and also provides some additional benefits, special discounts and services through the My Dog Matters rewards program!

Our most recent survey of licensed dogs in the Central Okanagan found Bella and Charlie as the top two names for pooches!
That's similar to findings from a global survey of most popular dog names.
