Governance and services study committee appointed

The Regional Board has appointed 12 volunteer members to serve on the Central Okanagan West governance and services study committee.

Recycling Ambassadors are back with recycling education

The Regional District Recycling ambassadors are back on the streets this spring and summer, randomly checking what’s under the blue lid and inside curbside recycling carts. The Regional Board has approved scheduling a Public Hearing on Official Community Plan and Zoning Amendment bylaws for a property located at 4410 June Springs Road in the Central Okanagan East Electoral Area. First reading was given on October 14 for amendment application (Z21-05) to allow a rural residential property that is less than four hectares and zoning on a portion of the property to facilitate a two-lot subdivision.
