The City of Kelowna is excited to announce the planned installation of four riffles to Mission Creek this Summer. Book recycling program now offered at North Westside Community Library

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is now extending its book recycling program to the North Westside Community Library in Killiney Beach.
The book recycling program offers Central Okanagan residents a convenient way to recycle their old, out-of-date and damaged books.
The RDCO launched the program last year after finding residents were tossing books in their recycling carts, material Recycle BC does not allow in curbside carts or at recycling depots.

Inclusive Regional Governance Working Session Summary and Recommendations
The Regional Board received the Regional District of Central Okanagan / Westbank First Nation Inclusive Regional Governance Working Session Summary Report, which summarizes the March 13 working session on inclusive governance. The Board endorsed the proposed decision-making model and Joint Working Group composition as outlined in the report and asked staff to seek support from Westbank First Nation Chief and Council.
