RDCO citizen survey launches today

Answer the call and provide your input about the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO).

The RDCO has launched it’s second citizen survey, which will run during the last week of October and first week of November. Conducted by Ipsos, the survey involves short 15-minute phone calls (30% landline, 70% cellphone) to a random sample of the region’s population over 18 years of age. Following planned maintenance and emergency work performed on October 24, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has placed a precautionary Boil Water Notice for some customers of the Killiney Beach water system. The following properties are affected by this boil water notice:

• 2 – 14 Blarney Place

• 410 – 491 Galway Place
• 504 – 544 Udell Road

• 9514 – 9554 Hodges Road
• 302 – 405, 398 Kildare Way
• 302 – 505 Killarney Way

• 9365 & 9375, 9464 – 9584 Westside Road

Extended water outage for some customers of the Killiney Beach water system

Due to continued work on the Killiney Beach Water System it is estimated that water service will not resume until 8:00 pm today.

The service outage impacts properties at the following addresses:

• 2 – 14 Blarney Place
• 410 - 491 Galway Place
• 9514 – 9554 Hodges Road

• 303-405 & 398 Kildare Way
• 302 – 505 Killarney Way
• 504 - 544 Udell Road

Additional customers of the Killiney Beach Water System will experience a water service outage on October 24, 2024, due to unexpected and necessary shut offs during maintenance work.
