Mission Creek Regional Park playground renewal begins

Project Update: September 6, 2024
The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is temporarily pausing the play structure renewal project at Mission Creek Regional Park. We have heard the feedback received over the last few days and we are listening.
The project start has been delayed until spring 2025 to allow for further evaluation of accessibility standards, scheduling and material availability. This extra time will ensure that we can address the community’s concerns.

Labour Day holiday office closure

The Regional District of Central Okanagan offices on KLO Road in Kelowna will be closed on Monday, September 2 for the Labour Day holiday. We look forward to serving you again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3.

Swimming advisory removed for Reiswig Regional Park

Just in time for the long weekend, the swimming advisory in place since August 2 has been removed for Reiswig Regional Park following guidance from Interior Health Authority. Regular testing indicates the water now meets the Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality.

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) has completed Phase 2 of its curbside food waste engagement initiative and has released the findings in a new What We Heard Report.
