Office closure for the May long weekend

The Regional District of Central Okanagan will be closed Monday, May 22 for Victoria Day. Our office will reopen to serve you at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23.
Regular curbside garbage and recycling collection will take place for those who normally receive a Monday pickup. The Westside Residential Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre will be open its normal Monday hours for service. Keep RDCO parks safe from fire this long weekend

With rising fire risk due to continued hot and dry conditions, the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) reminds visitors to use caution and be aware of fire prevention and safety requirements when in regional parks this weekend and throughout the summer.
Smoking, vaping and open flames are not allowed any time in regional or RDCO community parks. Propane fueled barbeques are permitted, but must be attended and kept safely away from any flammable materials.

Closure of Mountain Goat Trail in Goats Peak Regional Park

Mountain Goat Trail in Goats Peak Regional Park will be closed on weekdays for trail improvements from Wednesday, May 16 until Friday, June 2.
The trail will be closed Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors can access the trail after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The Sagebush Trail will remain open during this closure.
