Customers of the Dietrich/Star Place/Trepanier water system may experience a temporary water service interruption due to a planned BC Hydro power outage. The BC Hydro outage is a result of a pole replacement in the area that requires electricity to be turned off.
BC Hydro power outage is scheduled for:
- Tuesday, January 21, 2025 - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you have a dog that is over three months old and has lived in the Central Okanagan for more than 30 days, your dog needs I.D., too! Save $20 by renewing or purchasing your dog’s 2025 licence before February 28.
Until February 28, a licence for a dog that is spayed or neutered is $20. If the dog isn’t spayed or neutered the fee is $60. On March 1, licence fees return to the regular annual rates of $40 and $80.
