This Saturday, October 26, 2024 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, plan a visit to Mission Creek Regional Park for the Regional District of Central Okanagan annual Spooktacular event.
Don your best Halloween costume and stroll the trails to admire the creatively carved pumpkins lighting the way. Prizes for the funniest, cutest, scariest and most original pumpkin design will be awarded and announced on our social media channels.

Planned outage for the Killiney Beach water system

Some customers of the Killiney Beach Water System will experience a water service outage on October 24, 2024, for planned maintenance. Letters were distributed to all affected properties in advance of this interruption.
The service outage will impact properties at the following addresses on October 24, 2024, from approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm:
- 2 – 14 Blarney Place
- 9514 – 9554 Hodges Road
- 303-405 Kildare Way
- 302 – 505 Killarney Way
- 9365 & 9375 Westside Road

Dogs need I.D., too: Licence your new dog now and cover all of 2025

New dog in the family? Take advantage of the Regional District of Central Okanagan’s (RDCO) special licensing offer. Purchase a licence for a new or previously unlicensed dog in October, November or December and it will be valid for the rest of this year and all of 2025.

Rescind of partial Boil Water Notice for Westshore Estates water system

After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded a partial Boil Water Notice for residents served by the Westshore Estates water system.
The precautionary notice was issued October 16 for the following properties following construction:
- Hillcrest Way 8 – 90
- Cedar Drive 2 - 6
- Mountain Drive 500 - 586 even
