The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) Board has approved the 2023 – 2027 Financial Plan.

Development Cost Charge bylaw amendments

The Regional District is proposing inflation adjustments to its Development Cost Charge (DCCs) bylaws for the Westside Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and East Trunk sewer.
It’s anticipated draft bylaw amendments will be presented to the Regional Board in July and if adopted would take effect this October.

April 1 marks the official kick off to Community clean-up month, and you too can get involved!
This annual program of the Regional District of Central Okanagan Waste Reduction Office encourages you do some light spring cleaning in your neighborhood.
The RDCO Waste Reduction Office supports Community clean-up month by supplying clean-up gear to participants:

- Bags

The new Board of Variance is seeking three (3) members to serve from within the Central Okanagan East and Central Okanagan West electoral areas. The Canadian flag at the RDCO office has been lowered to half-mast today to mark the passing of Al Horning who served on behalf of our community as a Member of Parliament, Member of the Legislative Assembly, City of Kelowna Councillor and Regional Board Director.
Al was a member of the Regional Board, appointed by the City of Kelowna from 1981 to 1988.
