Updated Administration Overhead Policy
Following a robust review of the Administration Overhead Policy, the Regional Board repealed Policy 7.19 Administrative Overhead Policy and replaced it with the approved BP 18-2023 Administration Overhead Policy. The new policy reflects the key principles of fairness, transparency, reasonableness, equity, stability, and ease of administration by allocating these costs on a basis that aligns the costs with the services provided.
Westshore Estates Water Quality Advisory ends - Nov.30

After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded a partial Water Quality Advisory for customers of the Westshore Estates water system.
Water sample testing confirms the water quality is again within acceptable and safe Canadian guidelines for drinking water quality for all properties on the water system.
The Water Quality Advisory impacted the following addresses and was put in place on November 22 following waterline work required to repair a leak.

The Central Okanagan’s curbside recycling program will soon test artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve overall waste diversion efforts by detecting when the wrong material lands in your recycling cart - and letting you know about it in real time.

Hardy Falls Regional Park closure extended

The closure of Hardy Falls Regional Park has been extended due to additional maintenance work required on Bridge #1. This includes the closure of the Owl Trail. The park will reopen mid next week. Visitors are advised to know before they go, and check the Hardy Falls Regional Park information page to ensure the park has reopened before their next visit.
Signage and barricades will be in place during the closure. Please adhere to construction signage and worker direction.
