Office closure for Thanksgiving

The Regional District of Central Okanagan offices on KLO Road in Kelowna will be closed on Monday, October 14 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We look forward to serving you again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15.
- During this time any emergencies involving Regional District water systems or parks should be directed to 250-868-5299.
- Online payments, can be may be made online at rdco.com/payments.
- Regular curbside garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will take place on the holiday (October 14).
Planned outage for some customers of the Killiney Beach water system

Some customers of the Killiney Beach Water System will experience a water service outage on October 15, 2024, due to planned maintenance.
The service outage may impact properties at the following addresses on October 15, 2024, from approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm:
- 2 – 14 Blarney Place
- 9514 – 9554 Hodges Road
- 303 – 505 Killarney Way
- 9365 & 9375 Westside Road

Planned maintenance for Westshore Estates water system

Due to essential scheduled maintenance, a series of two water disruptions may affect a limited number of customers in the Westshore Estates water system between October 16 and 18, 2024.
Properties at the following addresses may be affected on October 16 and 17, 2024 from approximately 7:30 am to 4 pm:

Help steer the future: Okanagan Travel Survey returns

Starting today, randomly selected households throughout the Central Okanagan and Vernon will receive a letter inviting them to participate in the 2024 Okanagan Travel Survey between Oct. 7 and early November. Anyone who receives a letter is encouraged to complete the survey, as participation is crucial for directing decision in their community as well as throughout the region.

Bridge closure in Mission Creek Regional Park

The Kokanee Bridge in Mission Creek Regional Park will be closed for construction starting Monday, October 7, 2024. The bridge will reopen by end of day, Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
The bridge closure will allow crews to complete concrete repairs and install new guardrails. Park users who wish to access the south side of Mission Creek Regional Park may detour via the soopalalie Trail across the Cottonwoods Bridge, adjacent to Ziprick Road.
