Weekly curbside garbage collection is provided to single family homes in the Central Okanagan with the exception of homes on First Nation land (Westbank First Nation reserves and OKIB Duck Lake Reserve). Residents in condominiums and apartments will have garbage collected through a private waste hauler and should contact their landlord or strata council for further information.

What to do with extra garbage?
- Purchase a “tag-a-bag” sticker for up to two additional bags/containers of garbage
- Haul your extra garbage to the Glenmore Landfill or Westside Residential Disposal and Recycling Centre
