Recycling depots

The following is a list of residential recycling depots. No commercial waste is accepted.

Pop up depots

Lake Country Pop-up Depot

The 2024 Lake Country Pop-up recycling depot events will take place the 4th Saturday of the month from March to October.  Event takes place at the corner of Main Street and Hill Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Waste Reduction staff will be on hand to accept depot only recyclables such as glass, Styrofoam, plastic bags, flexible plastics, electronics, small appliances, batteries, light bulbs and light fixtures. For those that do not have curbside collection, containers, paper and cardboard will also be accepted.  Residential recyclables only, no commercial material will be accepted.

Peachland Pop-up Depot

The 2024 Peachland Pop-up recycling depot events will take place the 2nd Saturday of the month from March to October.  Events take place in the parking lot of the Peachland Community Centre, 4450 6th Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Waste Reduction staff will be on hand to accept depot only recyclables such as glass, Styrofoam, plastic bags, flexible plastics, electronics, small appliances, batteries, light bulbs and light fixtures. For those that do not have curbside collection, containers, paper and cardboard will also be accepted. Residential recyclables only, no commercial material will be accepted.

Glenmore Landfill (residential recyclables only)

The Recycling depot located at the Glenmore Landfill is operated by the Regional District of Central Okanagan and is located to the left when you first arrive at the site.

The onsite depot accepts residential recyclables only including paper, cardboard, plastic containers, tin cans, glass bottles and jars, styrofoam, and flexible plastics.  Please be prepared to sort upon arrival.
