The Regional District provides dog pound services and assistance throughout the Central Okanagan. Dog licences through Westbank First Nation are not part of the RDCO dog licensing program, but we do work together to return dogs to their homes. Residents on Okanagan Indian Band IR#7 in the Lake Country area, are not required to purchase a dog licence, so there is no program in place to help return dogs to their homes.

If reporting after hours, please leave your name, phone number, a description of the dog and where the dog was found. You may use the after-hours drop-off kennel at the dog pound (closed in extreme weather). Please place the dog inside the kennel, close the outside lock and call After-hours Emergency at 604-815-6006 or toll-free 1-888-670-2417
