The December 31st deadline is approaching for business licence renewals for businesses operating in the Central Okanagan East and/or Central Okanagan West Electoral Areas.
Renewal notices are being distributed by email only due to suspended mail delivery during the Canada Post strike. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the convenient and secure online renewal/application option by visiting the RDCO website rdco.com/payment. Alternatively, payments may be made through online banking or in person at 1450 KLO Road, Kelowna BC V1W 3Z4.
If your email address has changed, your business is no longer operating or a change of ownership has occurred, please advise RDCO Business Licensing by email at business@rdco.com.
To avoid a late fee of $30, renewals must be paid by December 31, 2024.
The RDCO participates in an inter-community business licence program. The inter-community licence allows qualifying businesses the flexibility to work in one or more of the other participating municipalities in the Okanagan-Similkameen corridor without purchasing an additional business licence for each jurisdiction. To qualify, local businesses based in or doing work in the electoral areas must first have an RDCO business licence before applying to purchase the inter-community business licence for an additional $150.
Please note, the RDCO offices will be closed December 25, 2024 through January 1, 2025. For more information on business licensing, visit rdco.com/businesslicence, contact RDCO Business Licensing at 250-469-6211, email business@rdco.com or visit in person at 1450 KLO Road, Kelowna.
