Back to SearchEligible voters in the Regional District West Electoral Area includes residents living on Westbank First Nation (WFN) lands on IR #9 and #10, Trepanier Bench, Brent Road, Traders Cove, Fintry, Valley of the Sun, La Casa, Killiney Beach, Westshore Estates and Wilson’s Landing.
Although the Electoral Area Director has been declared elected by acclamation, residents have several options to vote for their School Trustee, Zone II to represent them on the Central Okanagan Board of Education.
Advance voting will be available Wednesday, October 5 and 12 between 8 a.m. and
8 p.m. at:
- 19 Okanagan Grill/Two Eagles Golf Course, 3509 Carrington Road, West Kelowna.
General in-person voting takes place Saturday, October 15 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at:
- Killiney Beach Community Hall, 516 Udell Road, Vernon
- Townplace Suites by Marriott, 3551 Carrington Road, West Kelowna
Voters are required to provide election officials with two pieces of identification including one with a signature to confirm their residency. Information for resident and non-resident electoral area voters is available at rdco.com/elections.
Qualified voters may also apply for a mail ballot and vote by mail. The request for a mail ballot package must be made by 4 p.m. Thursday, October 6 by contacting the Chief/Deputy Election Officer:
