It’s that time of year when things are changing at the EECO!
The Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan in Mission Creek Regional Park (Springfield and Durnin Roads) will be closed Monday, January 10 through Friday, January 14 as staff are changing the information display.
You’ll be able to visit again and learn about the big cats that call the Central Okanagan home when the doors to the facility open again at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 15. The EECO is a great resource to inspire your outdoor recreation experience. Discover a new Regional Park to explore this winter or ask for staff to help identify tracks you may have spotted in a park.
The Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For the protection of staff and visitors, physical distancing and masks are required and a maximum of five people are allowed inside.
