“We are so excited to invite everyone to reconnect with nature and community through the incredible experiences offered in our Regional Parks. Whether you're painting under the trees, hiking to hidden waterfalls or enjoying music by the lake, there's something for every age and interest,” says Jill Hamilton, Supervisor, Visitor Services and Community Relations. The new Park Program Guide is your passport to adventure, creativity and connection in the Central Okanagan. We encourage everyone to check it out and try a new program this summer.”
This season’s highlights include:
- Guided hikes and nature programs: Explore hidden gems, chase waterfalls, stargaze under the night sky and learn about local wildlife and ecosystems with expert park interpreters.
- Creative by nature: hands-on art experiences like nature journaling, watercolour painting and the popular Quail Weaving art workshop with local artist Annabel Stanley.
- Family fun and drop-in activities: from “Go Fish” and “Tales by the Trail” to “Music in the Park” and “Mornings at the Beach,” there’s something for all ages to enjoy—no registration required.
- Walking and hiking clubs: Join weekly outings like the Sunny Strides Walking Club and Hike Club to stay active and connected with nature.
- Eco Action & volunteer opportunities: Help preserve our parks through stewardship events and volunteer programs.

In addition to an exciting lineup of new programs, the RDCO has launched a new online booking system to make it easier than ever to register for programs. To reset your password or create an account, follow these steps:
- Visit the new login page: https://www.rdco.intellionline.ca/
- Click “Login” in the top right corner.
- If you’re an existing customer or forgot your password, click “Click here” below Log In to begin.
- Enter your registered email address and submit the request.
- Check your inbox for a password reset link and follow the instructions.
