ATM Theft
Peachland - October 8, 2025
West Kelowna RCMP is investigating an ATM theft on Oct. 8, 2025, around 4:26 a.m. at a bank in the 5500 block of Clements Crescent. Suspects used a front-end loader and pickup to rip out the deposit box, later abandoning both vehicles and the box nearby.

Grandparent scam
Kelowna - October 3, 2025
Kelowna RCMP is investigating two fraud cases where an elderly victim was scammed out of $5,000 after being told their grandchild was in legal trouble. In both cases, the suspect posed as a lawyer and later arrived at the victim’s home to collect cash.

Sexual assault
Kelowna - September 5, 2025
Kelowna RCMP is investigating a sexual assault that occurred Aug. 23, 2025, between 10 p.m.–12 a.m. behind the strip mall in the 300 block of Hwy 33, Rutland.
Suspect: Male, 30–40 years old, darker complexion, brown/black hair, approx. 5’8”, medium build, last seen wearing dark t-shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Vandalism
Kelowna - September 3, 2025
The Kelowna RCMP are investigating vandalism on Aug. 10, 2025, around midnight at the Harvey Ave/Richter St pedestrian overpass. Two suspects were seen spray-painting the bridge.
Suspect 1: Caucasian male, grey hoodie with red/white/black writing, black pants, headband, carrying black/beige bag.
Suspect 2: Caucasian male, long blonde hair, black pants, black long-sleeve shirt with white writing, black/white cap.

Kelowna RCMP is investigating hate-motivated graffiti, containing discriminatory language, at Rutland Arena (600-block Dodd Rd), reported Aug. 19, 2025. Two suspects were seen spray-painting around 12:30 a.m. Aug. 17.
Suspect 1: Caucasian male, camo pants, black jacket, grey/purple cap.
Suspect 2: Caucasian male with brown beard, red hoodie, grey pants, riding a gold/black mountain bike.

Public assault
Kelowna - June 16, 2025
The Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s help after an assault on June 16, 2025. A 42-year-old woman was attacked between 1:00–1:25 p.m. in the alley between Ellis Street and St. Paul Street, near the 1440 block of St. Paul and 1400 block of Ellis (between Bernard and Doyle). Police are seeking witnesses or video from dash cams, security cameras or personal devices.

Scooter rider involved in collision

Kelowna RCMP responded to a collision between two motorized scooters on the 800-block of Ellis Street. One man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries; the other rider left before police arrived. He is described as a slim, shorter male wearing a helmet and camouflage jacket, riding a black and orange scooter.

Damage to New Bike Park
Lake Country - March 27, 2025
A 2014 Dodge truck drove onto trails at Lake Country Bike Park (8865 Okanagan Centre Rd W), causing damage when the bank gave way. The truck was later found uninsured and the driver fled before RCMP arrived. Police are investigating and charges may follow.
