The Central Okanagan region is located in the Okanagan Valley in the Southern Interior of BC. The RDCO includes two unincorporated Electoral Areas (Central Okanagan East and Central Okanagan West), Westbank First Nation and member municipalities of the City of Kelowna, the City of West Kelowna, the District of Lake Country and the District of Peachland. The region encompasses 314,000 hectares of land on both sides of Okanagan Lake. Approximately 251,700 people call the region home, making it the third largest urban area in the province.
