The RDCO is one of 27 Regional Districts in the province. It is made up of two unincorporated electoral areas and the four member municipalities of Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland and Lake Country, as well as Westbank First Nation and Okanagan Indian Band.
Residents from Lake Country to Peachland are encouraged to take part in the Regional Climate Resilience Strategy (RCRS) survey and help guide actions that reduce risk and strengthen preparedness across the region. Your input will support coordinated, region‑wide solutions that reflect local experiences and priorities.

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is once again making backyard composters available exclusively for Central Okanagan residents through an online pre-sale running March 2 to 31, 2026. Composters are available for $45, including tax and delivery, and will be delivered directly to residents’ homes in time for spring gardening.
