Property information requests

A property information request (PIR) provides building permit history and zoning information. The fee is $45, however complex requests requiring additional time will incur extra fees. 

Use our online service request system to submit your PIR. Once you submit your request you will be redirected to the payment page. Payment is required to process your property request.

If you are working on behalf of a property owner you must include a signed listing agreement or owners authorization form with your request.

A property may have legal notations or charges registered on title that could restrict development. These documents can be accessed through the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC, a search and registry service, a notary or lawyer.
