Okanagan Regional Library Board

The Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) is governed by a Board of 24 elected officials representing municipalities, regional districts and First Nations. The RDCO appoints one electoral area director to the ORL Board every year. Each member municipality appoints one councilor to the Board annually.

The RDCO assists the ORL Board legislatively, including the costs for their annual budget in the Regional District's budget. The Regional District requisitions the funds for their library budget from the Province and participating local governments.
