Disposal locations

All waste generated in the Central Okanagan is transported to the Glenmore Landfill.

Materials must be secured and covered with a tarp before transporting to any disposal location. Before heading to any disposal location be sure that your materials are acceptable. See banned materials disposal guide for details. Before heading to a transfer station, ensure you are an authorized resident.

Traders Cove Transfer Station

Authorized users only. New residents should see a site manager for an application form to use this transfer station.

Winter hours:

Wednesdays from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Summer hours:
(Start of the May long weekend to the end of the Labour Day long weekend)

Wednesdays from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
