Holiday office closures and service information
The Regional District of Central Okanagan KLO Road office will be closed for the holidays beginning Thursday, Dec. 25, and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
Facilities and locations
The North Westside Transfer Station, Traders Cove Transfer Station and the Westside Residential Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre are not affected by holiday closures and will remain open during regular business hours.
The Robert Hobson Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan will be closed beginning Dec. 25 and will reopen on Jan. 6.

Emergencies involving Regional District water systems or parks should be reported by calling 250-868-5299.

Payments, business licence renewals and new licence purchases can be made online at rdco.com/payments.

Dog licence renewals for 2026 and new licence purchases are available at rdco.com/dogs.
Curbside collection holiday schedule
No curbside collection will occur on Wednesday, Dec. 25, or Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Collection will move to the next day for residents with Thursday and Friday service for two weeks, as follows:

Thursday, Dec. 25 collection moves to Friday, Dec. 26

Friday, Dec. 26 collection moves to Saturday, Dec. 27

Thursday, Jan. 1 collection moves to Friday, Jan. 2

Friday, Jan. 2 collection moves to Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026
The regular collection schedule resumes the week of Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
Yard waste collection ends Dec. 31, 2025, and resumes in March 2026.
