Joe Rich Fire Rescue hits the streets for the 21st Annual Food Drive

Last year’s campaign collected over 2,580 kilograms of food.

With the holidays around the corner, join the Joe Rich Fire Rescue crews to make this year’s 21st annual Community Food Drive a success.

Last year’s campaign collected over 2,580 kilograms of food and more than $2,100 in donations for the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

Items most in need are canned vegetables, pasta and pasta sauce, rice, healthy cereal, baby food and formula and diapers. However, a mix of non-perishable items are welcome.

When: Sunday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: Joe Rich Fire Rescue members will be travelling throughout the community to collect food, cash and cheque donations.

How to Donate:

  • Leave your donation on your doorstep, porch, or at the end of your driveway on the morning of the event.
  • Drop off your donation between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Station 51 (11481 Highway 33 East). Donation bins will be set up.
