Office closure on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
The Regional District of Central Okanagan offices on KLO Road in Kelowna will be closed on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We look forward to serving you again on Wednesday, October 1 at 8 a.m.
The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
The RDCO is committed to continuing our journey toward Truth and Reconciliation, by understanding, respecting, and working alongside the syilx / Okanagan people.
- During this time any emergencies involving Regional District water systems or parks should be directed to 250-868-5299.
- Online payments may be made online at rdco.com/payments.
- Regular curbside garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will continue as usual.
- The EECO in Mission Creek Regional Park will also be closed Tuesday, September 30.
