Temporary processing delays for some development applications and permits

Due to unforeseen staff shortages, we are currently experiencing longer-than-normal processing times for development applications and inquiries within the Development Services department.

We recognize the importance of timely service and appreciate your patience as we work to address these delays.

To help manage workloads and meet current demands:

• Book an Appointment
  For in-depth assistance, detailed questions, or comprehensive development application reviews, we ask that you book an appointment.
  Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Drop-In Hours
  For general support without an appointment, staff are available:
  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Application Drop-Off
  If you're simply dropping off an application, front counter hours remain unchanged:
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please note: Building permit and business licensing processes remain unchanged. Due to a high volume of applications and inquiries, processing time for businesses licences is currently 6-8 weeks.

We remain committed to supporting development activity and ensuring all applications are processed as efficiently as possible.
