Yard waste

The RDCO provides curbside cart collection for yard waste from single family dwellings in the the City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, District of Peachland, District of Lake Country and Electoral Area East. Yard waste is collected every other week from March 1 to December 31.

Using your yard waste cart

In colder weather, keep materials in your cart loose. Overpacked carts can freeze and won't empty when the cart is tipped into the collection truck. When you put your cart out on the morning of your collection day, check that the lid opens and materials are loose.
