RDCO election voting information
The Chief Election Officer has declared that eligible voters in the Central Okanagan East and West Electoral Areas will be going to the polls next month to elect their representatives to the RDCO Board of Directors and the Central Okanagan Board of Education, School Trustee Zone I. The following candidates have been declared and will appear on the ballot:
RDCO Director, Electoral Area East

- Christine LeGuilloux
RDCO Director, Electoral Area West
- Wayne Carson
- Ron Dewhurst
- Steven Gilroy
School Trustee Zone I - District of Lake Country/Central Okanagan East
- Sean Sookochoff
- Wilbur Turner
Advance voting
Wednesday, October 7 and 14 between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
General voting
Saturday, October 17 between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Voting places for both advance and general voting will be at:
Electoral Area East
- Ellison Fire Hall, 4411 Old Vernon Road, Kelowna
- Joe Rich Community Hall, 11481 Highway 33, Kelowna
Electoral Area West
- Killiney Beach Community Hall, 514 Udell Road, Vernon
- TownePlace Suites by Marriott, 3551 Carrington Road, West Kelowna
Mail ballot
Qualified voters may also apply for a mail ballot. A reminder that, to be counted, completed mail ballots must be delivered to the RDCO at 1450 KLO Rd by 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 17.
Acclamations
An election by voting is not required for the following position as the candidate has been declared Elected by Acclamation:
Central Okanagan Board of Education – School Trustee Zone II
- Lisa Guderyan – District of Peachland/Central Okanagan West
