Water Quality Advisory removed for Star Place water system

After consulting with Interior Health, the Regional District of Central Okanagan has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for customers of the Star Place water system.

The Water Quality Advisory was issued on March 27, 2026, due to increased turbidity in the source water caused by spring runoff from melting snow, known as freshet. Bacterial testing and disinfection levels are within normal drinking water standards in the distribution system and residents may resume normal water use.
