The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is recruiting election workers for the 2026 general local election.

Positions available

We're recruiting for the following paid positions:

  • Election Official (EO): No previous election experience required ($23/hour).
  • Alternate Presiding Election Official (APEO): Previous election experience required ($28/hour).
  • Presiding Election Official (PEO): Previous election experience required ($35/hour).

When you'll work

Election workers are needed for:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026: Advance voting
  • Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026: Advance voting
  • Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026: General voting day

Election workers should be available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the days they are assigned.

Voting locations include:

Electoral Area East

  • Ellison Fire Hall, 4411 Old Vernon Rd., Kelowna
  • Joe Rich Community Hall, 11481 Highway 33, Kelowna

Electoral Area West

  • Killiney Beach Community Hall, 514 Udell Rd., Vernon
  • TownePlace Suites by Marriott, 3551 Carrington Rd., West Kelowna
