Mission Creek Greenway closure due to KLO Bridge construction
The Greenway will be closed on both sides of KLO Road, with restricted access from June 11 to 26, 2026.
The Mission Creek Greenway at KLO Road will be temporarily closed to the public as part of the City of Kelowna’s KLO Road Bridge Replacement Project.
During the closure, crews will install a storm pipe that drains into Mission Creek. This work supports the bridge project and includes adjusting the overflow irrigation ditch to prevent flooding and ensure excess water flows back into the creek properly.
To safely accommodate this work, the Greenway will be closed on both sides of KLO Road, with restricted access from June 11 to 26, 2026.
Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes. Closure timing may vary, so please follow all posted signage and use caution.
