Temporary Mission Creek Greenway closure at KLO Road

The Mission Creek Greenway will be temporarily closed at KLO Road on Wednesday August 12 through Friday August 14 to accommodate ongoing work associated with the KLO Road Bridge Replacement Project.

Construction crews will be completing final construction projects associated with the bridge replacement project, including finishing the water overflow bypass pipe infrastructure, backfilling the newly installed overflow bypass pipe and completing trail improvements within the Mission Creek Greenway bridge underpass area. These works are necessary to finalize this phase of construction and safely reopen the area to the public.

During this work, there will be no public access across KLO Road via the Mission Creek Greenway. Greenway users will be required to use alternate routes and plan for additional travel time.

Please note that additional short-term greenway closures may be required for one- or two-days next week to complete any remaining work. Park users are encouraged to remain aware of construction crews and any posted signage as this project continues.

We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure project nears completion.

Visitors are asked to respect all closure signage, stay out of construction zones, and use alternate routes while work is underway. Trail users should also exercise caution at trail crossings and access roads and follow all posted signs and directions from workers.
