Dog licences and control

The Regional District encourages good habits for dog owners, to support the health and safety of residents and pets. The RDCO Responsible Dog Ownership | Bylaw No. 1343 guides dog licenses and dog control programs within the Central Okanagan.

Dog licences

All dogs three months or older must have a licence and wear a valid licence tag.

Dog licence reward program

This program rewards dog owners who purchase a licence for their dog with discounts at local businesses.

Dog complaints

Report dog related issues, such as barking or dogs at large.

Report lost and found dogs

Steps to take if your dog is lost or you find a stray dog.
