Effective Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), the ban on open burning will be lifted in most areas of the Central Okanagan in alignment with BC Wildfire Kamloops Fire Centre’s Category 2 and 3 Prohibition rescindment.
